BOOKLICE, Liposcelis spp. (Psocoptera: Liposcelidae). Psocids can be collected using a fine brush dipped in alcohol to pick up nymphs and adults as they run across infested surfaces. They can be killed and preserved in alcohol.

34, 35. BARKLICE, Archipsocus nomas Gurney (Psocoptera: Archipsocidae). Barklice can be collected with an aspirator, a small brush or Q-TipĀ® soaked in alcohol. Specimens are then stored in alcohol. Small specimens can also be mounted on microscope slides.
